Anne Chestney Mudd graduated cum laude from John Marshall
Law School, where she served on Law Review. In addition, she
holds a master's degree with honors from the University
of Louisville.
She received training in mediation from Pepperdine University
School of Law and the College of DuPage. Anne also served as
a mediation intern with Margaret S. Powers, an internationally-known
mediator and trainer of mediators.
Prior to embarking on a law career, Anne succeeded in education,
retail ownership, and real estate, as well as serving on boards
of civic and government organizations while raising her three
sons. She brings to the profession of law a hands-on understanding
of the issues that affect people. Leveraging that understanding
allows her to negotiate common ground and build workable solutions.
She is a member of the Mediation Council of Illinois; the Collaborative
Law Institute of Illinois, serving as Secretary of the Board
of Directors; the Association for Conflict Resolution; the American
Bar Association; the Illinois State Bar Association; the West
Suburban Bar Association; the DuPage County Bar Association;
and the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. She also serves
on the Suburban Chicago Planned Giving Association; the National
Association of Women Business Owners; and as President of the
West Suburban Women Entrepreneurs. |
