Annual International Moot Court Competition in Information Technology
and Privacy Law hosted by the Center for Information Technology
and Privacy at John Marshall Law School. Charles has participated
in this Moot Court Competition at John Marshall Law School for the
past four years.

The Court of Appeals for the State of Arizona set a briefing schedule
in Mobilisa, Inc. v. Doe 1 and The Suggestion Box, Inc. related
to the Defendants' appeal of an order compelling disclosure by The
Suggestion Box, Inc. of Doe 1's identity. The Defendants, represented
by Charles Lee Mudd Jr. and Christopher Whitten, must file their
brief on or before September 26, 2006.

proceedings against individuals that have previously settled and
made payments to the RIAA.

successfully obtained clarification of the federal annoyance law
(47 U.S.C. § 223(a)(1)(C) through its lawsuit filed against
Attorney General Gonzalez and the United States Government challenging
the annoyance law as unconstitutional. The Suggestion Box, Inc.

Montgomery County Lodge 35. The Plaintiff, Mariza Diaz, filed the
motion to compel in her litigation in the United States District
Court, District of Maryland.

appears on SFGate.com that discussed the litigation brought by Sweet
Pea Limited Inc. against individuals for alleged trademark infringement
through the innocent use of the phrase "Sweet Pea." Law
Offices of Charles Lee Mudd Jr. agreed to serve as lead counsel
for a joint defense brought by many of the individuals sued by Sweet
Pea Limited, Inc. Charles Lee Mudd Jr. is quoted in the article.
Sweet Pea Limited Inc. eventually returned settlement amounts paid
by some defendants, settled without monetary payment with other
defendants, and dismissed the remaining defendants. A website established
by some of the defendants can be accessed at www.sourpeas.org.
An article appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle on the same
litigation quoting Charles Lee Mudd Jr. The Associated Press distributed
the wire story.

"Public Debate on Electronic File Sharing" hosted by The
William Pitt Debating Union and The Department of Computer Science.
He joined student debator Tony DiMattio in representing the affirmative
position that "lawsuits against individual P2P users should
be sharply curtailed." Attorney
Geoffrey L. Beauchamp, Esq. and student debator Melina Forte
